Today interview day for the new post assistant merchandiser. Have 3 candidates coming in for interview for 2 day this afternoon. Me having bad tummy ache from the moment I step in the office....heheheh

Out of the 3 candidates so far, we only think that one of them are suitable for the post. One of them actually looked pitiful because she said that she is willing to take any salary range as long she is able to learn...so touching but she has some difficulty in pronouncing words. We could hardly hear her voice and she's from China. If we hire her, I have to go thru the trouble of applying PR for her but she seems pitiful. The 3rd candidate, well how shall I put it, she is a typical Ah Lian. The moment she step into the office, she oready start showing her bochap attitude. She didn't even bother to finish filling up the application form that I gave her. Instead she return the form to me with her own resume and which by the way was folded into 4 (I know because there is a crease line on her resume). Who in the world fold their own resume? I woild want my resume to be nice and clean. That show what kind of person she is. So soon after she left, we put a big X on her application. No No for this kind of ppl unless we want to invite unnecessary trouble.

So I left the office with my colleague at abt 6.30pm after chatting with m fren on the msn. Reach home, cooked fish in soya sauce and fried eggs for hubz as he has given me that hunger look as if he never eaten for ages. The moment I saw him, the first sentence that came out from his lips is "I'm Hungry" n spontaneously I gave him this look. He could have said something like "are u tired? dear" before making such statement rite? After cooking, he quickly dashed into the kitchen to eat but unfortunately he came out again because the rice is still boiling...hehehe...serve him rite. At abt 10.30pm, we were watching tv in the hallway when suddenly the light went "poof". I thought that there's a power on trip in my house. Then I realise that it's wasn't just my house that was affected. The whole neighbourhood was affected. It's was really pitch black. I was lucky that my hubz is at home and there is a supply of candles in my house. Just imagine if I were at home alone....scary!!!!..It was really a different experience for me. It was really really damn dark. It feels like dooms day is coming....hehehehe...anyway in my house there's a lot of candles just to keep the hall well litted. So romantic!!! but it was hot mind you. After 30 min of darkness, the power supply for the blk across the road has been revived. But lucky us....not, our block area still surrounded with darkness for almost 2 hrs. During tht period I switch on my notebook, thank god it's on Battery power and watch DVD. this is the time where u wish that everything is battery opearted....hehehehe..On some music frm my small little 'BATTERY OPERATED' radio. The power was back on at abt 12.30am. We heard from the news that there was some disruption of gas supply from Indonesia. I was telling my hubz that if one day Indonesia were to go on strike with S'pore, then we will all suffer since Singapore is so dependant on other countries resources. And now dreamland, here i come!!!
