Heritage Cookies - Sarang Semut
I remembered when I was a kid, I love this cookie. One of my Dad's relative was really good at making this heritage cookies and me & my sister would finish the whole container when we come to visit her. She would let us tapao some back home too....So now I decided to bake these cookies to bring back that childhood memories of mine. I found this recipe and tried it out. Well it turns out not bad though. It's like melt in your mouth...yummy!!!




Pineapple Tarts a must for Hari Raya

Hari Raya without Pineapple Tart...Well these is a must in my family tradition. It just doesn't feel Hari Raya without the tarts. It quite hard work though during this transition...coz the dough keep sticking to the mould...argghhh...I have to put lots and lots of flour an efforts to prevent it from sticking to the plastic mould...The pineapple paste is another hard labour that I have to face. Every min and sec, I have keep stirring until the paste is completely dried and to prevent it from burning.....anyway I manage to finish everything with satisfaction.....
