What's that smell??

Yesterday, suddenly there was a eletrical trip in the house. I was all alone in the room with sudden temporary blindness due to the black out. I had to walk to the eletrical outlet to reactive the power. Nothing seems wrong so I went ahead to do whatever I was doing. A few hours after, I went to the living room and there was this burning smell overpowering the whole living room then I realised that I had left the dryer to spin and that was where the whole trip came from. I was so grateful that nothing happened, had it been any spark, my house would have been burnt down without me realising it. Thank god. So now I have new curtains in my living room. Curtains ala damp clothing. Now I have to gantung gantung at my windows just to get the rest of the laundry dry. Now I have to spend every penny I have to fix the dryer. I don't think I could rely on Bamboo poles and sunshine especially now that is a raining season....argghhh....so frustrating but lucky knowing that no fire has been initiated.
